I didn't have the same understanding as everyone else when I went through middle through high school I was always rebelling and now I have alot to make up I have to go to an alternative school that hasn't really taught me anything I really need to know to get to the next step because m brain doesnt function properly. I wanted to know If anyone knew what algebra 2looks like in your books and how I can do the problems. I guess my brain can write good that's real weird to me. Can anybody show me?

There are a couple of ways to do it. You can talk like you here, make a group about biology and invite other members that have interests in biology. You can search on users by subject. Or you can invite people to be your "study buddy" and chat with them personally using discussion. Hope this helps.

Ok Lets see if this is right.
Jane guesses a number, so lets represent Jane's number as X.
Tom guesses a number that is double ( the sum of 1 and twice the number guessed by Jane (X).) Therefore we can represent Tom's guess with: 2(1+2x)
Then it says that the sum of both Jane and Tom's guess is 27. So then we can set up an equation adding the two together to get 27: X + 2(1+2x) =27
Than you solve that to find that X=5.
Leaving you to go back and plug 5 in for every X to find out what Jane and Tom guessed.
Jane guessed: 5
Tom guessed: 22

The way you go about this is the following:

They give you the values for t and r. You would plug in the variable with the given values. Then solve the equation to see if they are equal or not. For example:

(0,4) -> T=0 and R=4 therefore 4=2-5(0) is not true and does not satisfy the equation
