All a matter of perspective I guess! I think I did a pretty good job, but hope Mac versus PC isn't the deciding factor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol

Well silly me was trying to save money...I should have listened to my son who tried to convince me to buy the Mac!

Agreed. Belle Ringer, if I may ask...why didn't you buy a mac they are so incredibly user friendly and I don't have any problems with mine.

See...If the whole world would just switch over to mac....It would make things so much easier....

Just bought a new computer with VISTA and am hoping it wasn't a major error! I'm trying to get used to it, but am having trouble already. Just yesterday there were 19, yes 19, updates to the program.

It's funny because about a week ago this article was published as to why you should buy a Mac. http://www.usatoday.com/tech/columnist/edwardbaig/2007-12-05-mac_N.htm

My brother actually just recently bought a computer with vista on it and has yet to connect it to the internet. After having it for only about 2 months not being connected to the internet he is constantly having problems with opening programs and getting past security issues, and that's not even being connected to the internet!

That's pretty cool! Have you had a chance to play with the new os for the Mac? It seems as if they are one step ahead of Microsoft. It seems to me that each type of computer has its advantages and disadvantages.

My mom works for microsoft, which intails that i have vista and use it everyday when i am home. I personally have had no problems with it. I actually find it quite useful, it sets up its own debuggers on your computer so any kind of virus that gets on to your computer (i.e. the internet/myspace)the computer takes them off with.

So, I like the idea of Vista, because it is supposed to be more like the Mac, which I like using. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but am concerned about the problems that I have been hearing about. Have they made any progress with working out the bugs yet?
Posted by: seven on December 06, 2007
That's exactly what I did for my personal computer, however my business computers are all PC's.

Um...except that PC's really do stink and the whole world should just switch over to Mac's because they just don't get virus's period. None. Zilch. Nada!

I've intentionally stayed away from Vista so far as I am concerned about major bugs and my computers running it smoothly. Is there any input regarding these issues?
I've messed around with Vista on a couple different occasions now and have been really dissappointed each time I have...It just seems like microsoft tried to come out with "new" programming and made a couple different changes here and there but everythings pretty much the same...and to me it seems like everything is so much more complicated....the start menu is harder to navigate...that might just be my experience though...
