Well...Pretty much a sad excuse for a class...(Just kidding Mrs. A)...We are just assistants in the Media Center at our school...We help with pretty much everything. From cataloging magazines to Laminating and shelving books we pretty much do it all. Responsible for helping students in the Library with any questions they have and trying to point them in the right direction. So pretty much everything any Librarian/Media Center Director could ever want!

I just wanted to post a quick comment with regards to tagging. I noticed that a common mistake on many profiles is that tags are grouped together. The problem with this is that this site will actually distribute questions you ask to other users base on the tag. For example if you have your subjects tagged as "I love to write and read", your question will never make it to anyone and questions will never make it to you because another user would have to have that exact tag. Tags need to be simple key words such as science fiction, poetry, geometry etc...Does this make sense? If this site is use correctly it can be very powerful. For example if you tagged a question with geometry, math, trigonometry that question would arrive in the hands of many user to answer. Visa versa if you had those tags in your profile you would see that you have questions to answer.

So, who has answered or asked a question to the general population? Please tell us about your experience!

I think its actually a kind of effective way of getting help when you have no one around. In the sense of educational terms this is way better that myspace. Myspace is pretty much just networking while this is a place for help. I find it very cool. =)

Yeah I wouldn't say it was better than MySpace and Facebook. But its definitely something fun to do in computer.

Well I would not say that this studycurve thing is better than myspace or facebook but it is not as stupid. It is an okay site for us to go to during school and get help if needed or talk about things.
