Simplifying Square Root

How would you explain how to simply two sqaure roots over each other, example would be Square root of 6 over Sqaure Root of 2. Please help me. Thanks.

The rule you need to know here is as follows:

sqrt(6)/sqrt(2) is the same as sqrt(6/2) from this you can simplify the inside of the square root to be sqrt(3) which is in its simplest form.

Another example would be sqrt(8)/sqrt(2):

sqrt(8/2) = sqrt(4) = 2
