Study Curve

Young people can get their drivers license when they turn 16 years old. Many boys and girls buy a car or drive their parents car and feel very independent with that driver's license. Students work after school and during the weekend to pay for their cars and insurance. Students drive their cars to school so that they do not have to ride the school bus.

There is lots of traffic on the roads, especially when people are going and coming home from work. juke is right their are many cars on the road that are made outside of the United States, but many people do drive American made cars. People are beginning to buy smaller cars because the cost of gasoline has increased so much over the last few years. Many American auto makers are competing to make cars that get good gas mileage.

American automobiles are declining and struggling to make money where as Japanese automobiles are on the rise and doing very well. I worked for a company that made car parts for honda, gm, ford, dodge, and jaguar among others. The manufacturing process is very controlled and parts must be perfect before they leave the plant in order for the automobile manufactures to accept them.
