Writing a Press Release
Is there a generic template or skeleton out there on how to write a press release, what the components are that must be included, format, etc.?

I think that the following website will give you a wealth of information to help with the writing of a press release. I found it very useful...check it out!

I am sure that you would need the date of release, the city and state of the story, the main body (including a brief introduction to the story, some substantial details without giving away too much, and a closing/summary) and obviously some contact information.
