how do u write an equation using a table in algebra1 it says "is the relationship shown by the data linear?" if so model the data with an equaion. WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN.

The table should have an X column and a Y column (they might be labeled differently, but that's what they are), so graph the first point by taking the first X and the first Y and graph it as (X,Y), then graph the other points. If you can draw a straight line through the points, it's linear and you can then write an equation for that line (y-intercept is probably what is most familiar: y = mx + b)

dudewheresmy car14. If I understand your question, linear data will make a line when you plot it. Nonlinear data will make something that isn't a line. For example, if you were to plot y=x^2, you're going to get an exponential curve. If you plot y=3x, you're going to get a straight line. Juke is right, you might need to write the equation or be more descriptive in order to get this one answered properly
