I was going to post this question, too.
Here is my problem: I love the Senteo Software, but not the Senteo clickers.
I teach elementary and there are a few hurdles that I can't get past so I am just not using them anymore.
1) They are too complicated with too many options and steps to go through to use them.
2) The fact that students can't change thier answers after entering it is a huge problem with the younger kids.
3) Logon takes far too long when getting the class going, and there are problems everytime. You really have to plan to use them because you can't just pull them out and use them on the fly.
I really love the way Senteo works with the Smart software and MS Office Suite. I find the CPS software frustrating to use and often my frustrations with the software kept me from using the units.
My main issues with the CPS software:
1) It is restrictive and limited to a very set group of rules.
2) It is hard to use on the fly.
3) Once a session has begun, you can't flip to another page or software and go back to the session unless you complete it.
In a perfect world we would be able to use the CPS units with the Senteo software, plus have the student name randomizer which I REALLY miss.
