Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk, or Survivor. Each book can be read using a different view point, religion as a fight club, the economy, social class, i had a teacher make us read it 6 times, with a different underlying meaning and each time we received a different response.

StrengthsQuest by Donald Clifton, PH.D. It confirmed what I had believed for most of my life...that people spend too much time trying to fix "weaknesses". A better use of our life would be to identify our natural strengths and overdevelop the development of those strengths in our academic, professional, and personal lives. Second, only to the Bible, I have not found a more profound and effective resource for the betterment of human living than this book StrengthsQuest.
