Calculus Necessary
Do you really need to know calculus in order to succeed in Mechanical Engineering?

Yes and no. Calculus is integral in understanding the theories of Mechanical Engineering and how formulas are derived. However, if you simply want to make it through the classes you probably don't have to actually know that much calculus (but then again it probably depends on the individual prof.). Best of luck.
