How are composite aerospace parts usually formed into shape?

Typically composite components in aero industry are formed using a vacuum bagging process. Basically, you have a mold in which your fiber mat and resin are laid up in, next you apply vacuum bagging materials over the mold and pull a vacuum. This allows for excess resin to be removed and for the shape to be obtained.
