Question: MP3 phone problem

MP3 phone problem

I have a Motorola Razr V3m phone and have installed all the drivers, but the computer doesn't recognize the phone as a modem (device manager doesn't include it). Also, every time I connect the phone to the computer to try to download music to the phone, a message comes up saying "new hardware found" and the phone shows the message "connection failed". Any ideas how to fix this?

It depends on your provider. I know that most major companies disable the phone as a modem feature so you will buy a data card. I have a sprint phone and had to enter an admin. screen to use my phone as a modem. I did a google search and found a forum that would allot for doing so. As for transfering music, this is a feature that usually is something you cannot change. So you can buy the song on every device and make for money for the company

Music capabilities dependent on operator and regional availability and support. Additionally, certain features may not be activated by your service provider, and/or their network settings may limit the feature’s functionality. I would give your provider a call and ask them if your phone service is set up for music downloads. Hope this helps!
